Brain Boosting Smoothie

If you have been partying and eating over the last month or so over the Holiday Season and are dreading the return to NORMALCY... I have just the thing! The 5 ingredients in this Dr Oz Brain Boosting Smoothie will keep your memory sharp, your mood elevated, and your energy high, not mention boosting your libido! Let's get this year started with a bang! Here is how this brain boosting smoothie will help get you on track:
Banana’s are high in antioxidants, dopamine and serotonin. Dopamine boosts memory and attention while serotonin elevates mood and helps control appetite, memory and learning.
Blueberries contain pigments called anthocyanins that give the fruit its dark color and also boost brain function.
Hemp nuts are rich in Omega-3’s which are essential for the health of your brain and nervous system. Additionally, the compounds found in hemp seeds have been shown to promote memory, learning and immune function.
Apple Juice prevents the loss of an important neurotransmitter called acetylcholine which is critical for memory and brain health.
Rhodiola Rosea will improve sexual functioning and boost the libido. Rhodiola Rosea Extract improves mood and can also alleviate depression.
So, without further adeau:
Dr. Oz’s Brain Boosting Smoothie
1 Bananas (try frozen bananas for extra thick shakes)
¼ cup Blueberries
A handful of Hemp Nuts
½ cup Apple Juice
1 tsp Rhodiola Rosea
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth. Add ice and enjoy!
